East Kentucky Power and its member systems have spec buildings already built for your business to occupy. You can purchase or lease a spec building and quickly adapt it to your specific needs. The land is already acquired, the environmental work is done and the buildings are ready for you to use.

Local industrial foundations in our service territory decide the size of each facility and then find private developers who build them. EKPC pays 60 percent of the interest-only construction loan and the participating distribution cooperative pays 40 percent for up to three years.

We’ve participated in spec building projects in Lebanon, Somerset, Morehead, London and Elizabethtown. We may have a building already available that’s just right for you and your business.
