Feb. 6, 2008 University Heights Academy Wins 2008 All “A” Classic Boys’
Basketball Tournament On
Sunday, Feb. 3, University Heights Academy beat Hazard 53-46 at Eastern
Kentucky University's McBrayer Arena to win another Touchstone Energy boys'
All "A" Classic basketball tournament (its eighth small-school
basketball title). Tyshwan
Edmondson, UHA's 6-4 senior point guard, had 16 points, nine rebounds and
three assists. He earned All "A" MVP honors after totaling 74
points, 33 rebounds and 13 assists for the week. In
the tournament's girls' division, Lexington Christian Academy defeated Paris
